"Authentic Vault 1999 US Open Champion PutterTwenty-five years ago, at famed Pinehurst #2, Payne Stewart made the longest putt ever to win the US Open on the final hole of regulation, defeating Phil Mickelson. The 15-foot par putt at number 18 lives on as one of the greatest clutch putts of all time and as one of the most iconic moments in golf history. Payne's final round putting performance, using a SeeMore original bronze FGP putter, was completely otherworldly, taking only 24 putts and making one great putt after another on some of the most difficult greens in the world. During that 1999 season, using the SeeMore putter, Payne Stewart ended the season as the best putter on the PGA Tour. The SeeMore Putter Company has always cherished its relationship with Payne Stewart. We like to think that SeeMore’s original FGP played a pivotal role in reenergizing his game in 1999. We know his epic win helped elevate our own SeeMore brand. In the early 2000s, the company planned to make a limited run of numbered commemorative putters as a tribute to the golfer whose life was tragically cut short in a plane crash on October 25, 1999. SeeMore ultimately produced fewer than 1000 of the putters and elected to sell only a limited number at the time. Some of the remaining vintage putters have been donated to charity over the last 25 years, raising funds for these meaningful causes as parts of silent auctions. The final 300 vintage putters have been stored in the SeeMore vault…until now. As part of this anniversary celebration of Payne, SeeMore is now making the final 300 of these vintage, original commemorative putters available for purchase, direct from SeeMore at SeeMore.com, starting June 1. These putters have a vintage look to them, as they are 25 years old, but in this case the aging has only made them more beautiful. They may, of course, be used in play, or they may be saved as a keepsake. Each commemorative putter will be built to 35 inches with a black tour classic grip to most closely match the specifications of Payne Stewart's exact gamer. The putter will also include a classic black SeeMore headcover. These vintage putters were made from a blend of original aluminum bronze 25 years ago in 1999 so they are completely authentic. The head weight is 330 grams. Those purchasing the Payne Stewart 1999 US Open Champion engraved putter will also receive an engraved black and bronze scorecard. The price for this once-in-a-lifetime limited production offer is $400. They will sell on a first serve basis. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Payne Stewart Family Foundation. The putters are a beautiful tribute to Payne Stewart and one of the greatest putting performances in US Open history.スペックAssembled with Black Tip True Temper ShaftLength, 35""Lie, 70 degreesIncludes a Black Golfpride Tour Classic grip and SeeMore Headcover"
